War Novels?

Today I’m trying to find time to do all those little things that keep getting pushed to the side when you are busy. Like this blog for instance.

I am reading the novel Regeneration by Pat Barker and finding it a really interesting book. I tend to stay away from anything the features war as a theme, but my university course doesn’t care about the subject matter I like. This is a good thing because otherwise I wouldn’t be reading this book.

The book is set in World War 1 and explores the lives of soldiers sent home in fragile mental states. It gives a better understanding of the harsh realities the soldiers faced in the war.
